Alongside more interpretive compositions, existing buildings are documented through a considered visual lens—capturing character, proportion, and detail. These works exist in dialogue with more abstract pieces, bridging observation and interpretation.
Moments where space feels suspended are emphasized: quiet facades against vast skies, interior atmospheres, and structures that appear both familiar and subtly surreal. Through simplified geometry, controlled color palettes, and an emphasis on light, architectural forms are reinterpreted as compositions that evoke stillness, scale, and ambiguity.
Rather than merely recording what exists, forms are distilled—context is reduced, proportions are shifted, and fragments are isolated to reveal how space is perceived rather than how it is constructed. Texture, contrast, and negative space are used to suggest depth, atmosphere, and mood.
