DE STUDIO | Refunds & Rescheduling Policy

Effective Date: May 8, 2026

This Refunds, Returns & Rescheduling Policy applies to all services, consultations, digital products, artwork, and physical products purchased through DE STUDIO. By purchasing any service or product from DE STUDIO, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Nature of Services & Products

DE STUDIO is a multidisciplinary creative studio offering:

  • Virtual architecture services

  • Virtual interior design services

  • Creative consulting

  • Space planning

  • 3D renderings and visualizations

  • Technical drawings and add-ons

  • Digital creative deliverables

  • Original artwork and sketches

  • Physical art products and creative objects

Because many DE STUDIO services and products are custom, creative, artistic, digital, or made-to-order, specific refund, return, cancellation, and rescheduling limitations apply.

2. Design Services Refund Policy

2.1 Non-Refundable Creative Services

Due to the custom, creative, and time-intensive nature of architecture, interior design, visualization, and artistic services, all approved payments for services are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Virtual consultations

  • Design packages

  • Space planning services

  • Concept development

  • Mood boards

  • Renderings and visualizations

  • Technical drawings

  • 3D models

  • FF&E selections and shopping lists

  • Creative consulting

  • Digital design deliverables

  • Custom design work

Work is considered “commenced” once DE STUDIO begins scheduling, research, communication, concept development, drafting, planning, file preparation, or creative production related to the project.

2.2 Deposits & Reservation Fees

Any deposit, booking fee, reservation fee, or retainer used to secure project availability, consultations, or creative production time is non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.

2.3 Partial Refunds

In limited circumstances, DE STUDIO may, at its sole discretion, issue a partial refund for incomplete work that has not yet been started. Any approved refund may deduct:

  • Administrative costs

  • Time already invested

  • Creative development work completed

  • Consultation time

  • Reserved scheduling time

  • Payment processing fees

  • Third-party transaction fees

2.4 Client Cancellations

If a client cancels a project after work has begun, DE STUDIO reserves the right to retain payment for all completed phases, labor, creative development, communication, and administrative time invested up to the cancellation date.

2.5 Service Credits Instead of Refunds

  • In certain situations, DE STUDIO may choose, at its sole discretion, to offer a service credit, project transfer, or future booking credit instead of a monetary refund.

  • Service credits are non-transferable and may expire if unused within the specified timeframe.

3. Consultation Rescheduling Policy

3.1 Rescheduling Requests

  • Clients may request to reschedule consultations or meetings by contacting DE STUDIO in advance.

  • Whenever possible, rescheduling requests should be submitted at least forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled session.

3.2 Missed Consultations

  • Missed consultations, no-shows, or late arrivals exceeding fifteen (15) minutes may be considered forfeited and non-refundable.

  • DE STUDIO reserves the right to determine whether a missed session may be rescheduled.

3.3 Late Arrivals

  • Late arrivals may reduce the available consultation time in order to respect other scheduled appointments.

  • Session extensions are not guaranteed.

3.4 DE STUDIO Rescheduling

  • DE STUDIO reserves the right to reschedule consultations, meetings, or project timelines due to illness, emergencies, technical issues, scheduling conflicts, force majeure events, or unforeseen circumstances.

  • Reasonable efforts will be made to provide alternative scheduling options.

3.5 Rescheduling Fee for Late Notice

Rescheduling requests submitted with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice may be subject to a rescheduling fee or may be treated as a missed consultation.

Emergency situations may be considered on a case-by-case basis at DE STUDIO’s sole discretion.

4. Project Pauses & Client Inactivity

Clients are expected to maintain reasonable communication during active projects. If a client becomes inactive, unresponsive, or fails to provide requested information for more than ninety (90) days, DE STUDIO reserves the right to:

  • Pause the project

  • Archive project files

  • Close the project

  • Require additional fees to restart the project

  • Requote services based on updated pricing

Inactive projects are generally not eligible for refunds.

4.1 Service Expiration Period

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, services and unused project time may expire six (6) months after purchase or after the last substantial client communication. After this period, DE STUDIO reserves the right to:

  • Close the project permanently

  • Archive or delete files

  • Require repurchase or reactivation fees

  • Requote services according to current pricing and availability

5. Revision Policy

  • Each service package may include a limited number of revisions as described in the selected package or proposal.

  • Additional revisions, redesigns, repeated modifications, or scope changes beyond the included revision limit may require additional fees.

Refunds will not be issued due to:

  • Subjective preference changes

  • Creative direction changes

  • Delayed client decisions

  • Requests outside the approved scope

  • Third-party disagreements

6. Digital Products Policy

6.1 Non-Refundable Digital Products

All digital products are non-refundable and non-returnable. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Downloadable files

  • PDFs

  • Templates

  • Digital artwork

  • Design resources

  • Guides

  • Creative assets

  • Digital renderings

  • Concept files

Because digital products cannot be physically returned, all sales are final unless otherwise required by law.

6.2 Download Responsibility

  • Clients are responsible for downloading, saving, and backing up purchased digital files after delivery.

  • DE STUDIO is not responsible for lost, deleted, corrupted, inaccessible, or improperly stored files after delivery.

7. Physical Art Products Return Policy

7.1 Eligible Returns

Returns or exchanges for physical products may be accepted only if:

  • The item arrives damaged

  • The wrong item was received

  • A confirmed manufacturing defect exists

  • The issue is reported within seven (7) days of delivery

Requests submitted after this period may not be eligible for return, replacement, or refund consideration.

7.2 Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Original artwork

  • Commissioned artwork

  • Personalized items

  • Custom-made products

  • Limited edition works

  • Handmade works with natural artistic variations

  • Digital products

  • Sale or clearance items

  • Made-to-order products

  • Custom framed artwork

  • Print-on-demand products

  • Commissioned sketches or studies

7.3 Condition of Returned Items

Approved returned items must be:

  • Unused

  • In original condition

  • Properly packaged

  • Returned with original packaging when possible

DE STUDIO reserves the right to reject returns that show signs of:

  • Damage

  • Misuse

  • Alteration

  • Improper handling

  • Excessive wear

7.4 Return Shipping

  • Unless otherwise required by law or due to confirmed error by DE STUDIO, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the client.

  • Shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, import fees, and handling charges are generally non-refundable.

7.5 Made-to-Order & Custom Production Disclaimer

  • Many DE STUDIO art products are handmade, produced in limited quantities, or made-to-order.

  • Minor artistic variations in color, texture, dimensions, brushwork, finish, or material appearance are considered part of the handmade and artistic nature of the products and are not considered defects.

8. Damaged Items

If a physical product arrives damaged, clients must contact DE STUDIO promptly after delivery.

8.1 Required Proof for Damage Claims

To evaluate a damage claim, clients may be required to provide:

  • Order information

  • Clear photographs of the damaged item

  • Photographs of the shipping packaging

  • Shipping labels

  • Proof of delivery

  • Additional supporting documentation if requested

Failure to provide sufficient documentation may affect eligibility for replacement or refund consideration.

9. Color, Texture & Handmade Variations

Many DE STUDIO products are artistic, handmade, custom-produced, or digitally displayed. Minor variations in:

  • Color

  • Texture

  • Finish

  • Tone

  • Material appearance

  • Brushwork

  • Scale

  • Dimensions

These are considered normal and are not considered defects. Digital displays, monitor settings, printing methods, and lighting conditions may affect color perception.

10. Shipping & Delivery Disclaimer

Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed. DE STUDIO is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Shipping carriers

  • Customs processing

  • Weather conditions

  • International import procedures

  • Supply chain disruptions

  • Force majeure events

  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the client

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the order is transferred to the shipping carrier.

10.1 Incorrect Shipping Information

  • Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information.

  • DE STUDIO is not responsible for lost packages, failed deliveries, delays, or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the client.

  • If an order is returned due to incorrect shipping information, additional shipping fees may apply before reshipment.

10.2 International Orders & Customs Delays

  • International orders may be subject to customs inspections, import taxes, duties, brokerage fees, or local regulations outside DE STUDIO’s control.

  • Clients are solely responsible for any customs fees, import charges, taxes, or country-specific delivery requirements.

  • DE STUDIO is not responsible for customs delays, import restrictions, confiscations, or international shipping disruptions.

11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Clients agree to contact DE STUDIO directly to attempt resolution before initiating chargebacks or payment disputes. Fraudulent chargebacks, abusive refund requests, or misuse of payment dispute systems may result in:

  • Service termination

  • Order cancellation

  • Refusal of future services

  • Submission of supporting documentation to payment processors

11.1 Payment Processing Fee Retention

If a refund is approved, original payment processing fees and non-refundable third-party transaction fees may be deducted from the refunded amount where permitted by law. This may include fees charged by:

12. Respectful Communication Policy

DE STUDIO values respectful, professional, and constructive communication. Harassment, abusive language, threats, discrimination, excessive hostility, or inappropriate conduct toward DE STUDIO or affiliated collaborators may result in:

  • Project suspension

  • Service termination

  • Cancellation of future bookings

  • Refusal of refunds where permitted by law

13. Exceptions

  • DE STUDIO reserves the right to make exceptions to this Policy at its sole discretion when appropriate.

  • Any exception granted in one circumstance does not obligate DE STUDIO to provide the same exception in future situations.
